WATERCOLOUR PAINTING BREAK
The Burrows and A J Ludlow Colours are teaming up to offer an exquisite, creative and rejuvenating short break along the stunning Pembroke coast
This painting break is the perfect opportunity for you to unwind and explore your creative side. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced painter, this experience is tailored to suit everyone. During the break, you will have the chance to learn new techniques from our expert tutors and create beautiful watercolour paintings in a tranquil setting.
A J Ludlow Colours a renowned manufacture of high-quality Professional Watercolour paints, located in Llanreath, overlooks the busy waterway from Milford Haven, will provide you with all the top-notch painting materials and tuition you need to get started. With its picturesque views and serene atmosphere, you'll feel inspired to pick up your brush and create something truly unique.
During the break, you will have plenty of time to explore the local area and take in the beautiful scenery. Whether you choose to paint outdoors or in the comfort of A J Ludlow Art Studio, this painting break promises to be a truly unforgettable experience.
The per person price for a minimum group of 4 people is £405. It includes 3 nights stay and 1 ½ day tutored watercolour painting sessions.

This was a great find and on my doorstep. For a meal with a difference try Paternoster Farm (@paternoster_farm). It is a 5 minute drive from The Burrows and a great treat. THE OLD POINT HOUSE, ANGLE
This pub has just opened under the care of Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company where they have their famous Cafe More burger van now placed in the garden as well as a restaurant inside the pub. A great walk round from West Angle Beach or just drive their to drink, eat and relax with views over Angle Bay
FRESHWATER WEST WALK

There is a great 2 mile circular trail that starts just behind the far end car park - a gentle meander that takes in sand dunes, wetland and hay meadows, home to rare plants, ground nesting birds and interesting insects. Can walk straight from The Burrows with no need to get in your car
IRONMAN WALES - 21ST SEPTEMBER 2025
/IRONMAN WALES is being held this year on Sunday 21st September starting in Tenby. The cyclist go straight past our front door so we are a great place to stay if taking part or if just interested in watching a part of this amazing event.

Glad to be back down here at last getting the house ready for clients together with time off for a few walks. Here’s to safe exit of lockdown and we can all enjoy coming to Pembrokeshire again from 12th April onwards
BABY GREY SEALS AT MARLOES

Baby grey seals have been spotted in the coves below the cliffs at Marloes Peninsula. Well worth a trip and walk around the headland. The mums are sometimes out in the sea if not with their pups
Please remember to keep low and quiet so as not to disturb the pups.

It’s been a tough few months for everyone and so we are pleased to say that we are back open for business on the 13th July! Your holiday abroad may not be looking optimistic so why not stay somewhere a little closer to home? We will be carrying out extra cleaning and provide hand sanitiser to keep you safe.
